Trump has decided to effectively be a dictator, and as long as his party willingly goes along with it, there is little to nothing Democrats can do to directly stop it. They have to rely on the Courts or else a few Republicans growing a conscience. In case you hadn't noticed, Republicans in the Senate have put very few bills up for a vote this year because they know they won't pass (most bills they have voted on have not passed due to being filibustered). They've chosen to let Trump & Musk bypass Congress altogether. In reality, Democrats have voted more solidly against Republicans in both the House and the Senate in the first 3 months this year than any minority party has ever voted against the majority in the history of the country.
