Trump wanted the CR.

Chip Roy and his Freedumb caucus never vote for spending bills, that is the big tell. They wanted 2 trillion dollars in cuts before they voted for the CR, well, they must have gotten that promise.

Bye Bye social safety net, the only way to get to 2 trillion and they won't go through Congress under the CR.
