The U.S. was taken over by sophisticated propaganda unleashed through social media. Individuals are targeted based on their personal characteristics, which are known because most of us willingly share our likes and dislikes on social media platforms. That information is collected and sold. Mark Zuckerberg knows my habits and beliefs. American Express knows when and where I travel. It knows my health history because I pay my co-pays by credit card. Google knows everything about me. It knows when my ex-husband (divorced 20 years ago, still friends) buys a plane ticket, because Google tells me. Verizon sends me messages about my ex-husband's wife! (We were never on the same account, but we're linked - we're all linked in various ways.)

The people who got Trump back in the WH and gave the GOP control of Congress fund online ads and "news" articles that target us based on their deep knowledge about us as individuals. Entertainers online, on the radio, on TV tell us what we want to believe.

White people in Arkansas are told that the Democratic Party wants them to suffer just because they're white. Idealistic young people are told that Genocide Joe and Killer Kamala are far worse threats to the world than grandpa Trump. Hispanic people are told in Spanish that violent criminals are wrecking things for law-abiding immigrants, and Trump will fix that. Black small business owners are told that Trump will reverse Biden's "rampant inflation" and "giveaways" to "illegals."

There is a lie for everyone. This will happen worldwide.
