(498 posts)Not a one of your alternative statements would be well met by almost anyone that doesn't already agree with you, so if you want to "preach to a choir", go buckwild. For those trying to accomplish outreach, the people attending such rallies or paying attention to them on TikTok or Youtube are already inquisitive. Therefore, they're the type of people to research words they don't know.
Part of good and effective messaging is knowing your target audience.
ON EDIT: As an example, look at the "That was a damn lie" Tiktok campaign Democrats put out. It was universally panned by Reps, Dems and Indies, as well as nonvoters. It was the subject of criticism and mockery, and further hurt the already hurting Democratic brand. As in real life, no matter how truthful something is, knowing how to deliver the message is more important than the message.
