(76 posts)I completely agree with Lucky. But I would add "Cheats" to his list.
I know nothing about messaging, but I can read bumper stickers and decode personalized license plates. If the tag line can't fit on a bumper sticker, it''s a lost message.
And i don't agree that negative words are to be avoided. That logic sounds like MSM babble. The MAGA moron class seems to thrive on it. The words Patriotism and Democracy are abstractions, but they are the wrappings of hate messages for the know-nothings.
But any word that gets in through to the 10 million voters who did not vote in the last election and those in red, rural America is the goal.
BTW, my Dad's education went all the way through the third grade, but he avidly read the Encyclopedia Britannica set he bought. My favorite political expression of his was "He's nothing but a rich Plutocrat." I smugly forgave him for the redundancy once I learned what a Plutocrat was.
To which I now add these bumper sticker ideas: "Ain't no Plutocrats in our house" or "Plutocrat: Go look it up" or "Ate a Plutocrat for dinner last nite."
