13. This might be a troubling development

From what I've seen of Newsom in the past, he's a smart guy. If he's trying to get ahead of all the anti-Newsom / anti-Cali preconditioning that's already been done on magats and repubs so he can run in 2028, fine.

But if he's been brainwashed himself from overexposure to right wing propaganda and ideology, this is a troubling development.

One sign of when a Democrat is becoming brainwashed by rightwing propaganda is when s/he blames us for responding to right-wing attacks. We are not the ones who keep bringing up divisive issues--it is republicans / rightwingers and magats.

All we do is respond and defend ourselves and our allies, but suddenly we're accused of being the ones forcing our views on everyone else when in reality it's the other way around.
