14. I feel the need for a video game based on the global economy and tariffs!

One side representing the U.S., others for China, Canada, Mexico, et al. Start pre-tariffs to get the hang of it, and then see the effects of tariffs.

For example, we raise the tariffs on Chinese goods, there's less consumption in the U.S. Less consumption leads to jobs being lost, which further reduces purchasing. Stores close, causing bankruptcies and lost rental payment. Factor in the unemployment payments and everything else. So company A decides it's the right time to build a t-shirt factory. How long will that take, the investment, what kinds of jobs will be created, are there workers for this type of plant. As time marches on, see the effects on the economy, always highlighting of course the effect on GDP/debt. All the while, the economy plodding along as it was prior to fRump is in the background.

I'm not a gamer so I don't know for sure, but I have to imagine they can be quite sophisticated, and a reasonably accurate model for this could be created. I'd play!
