SSN payment pending...WTF [View all]

Normally my social security payment posts on the third Wednesday of the month which would have been 21 May. On Friday 23 May my bank showed a deposit from SSA pending until 28 May. So my payment will be eight days late when it posts. Anyone else seeing this?

Why did they make a late deposit that wouldn't clear for five more days?
