(40,113 posts)the last 40 years. IMO, there was a lot of going-along-to-get-along, especially as big money started trickling into our electoral process. I know I'm totally uninspired by the Democratic Party right now. It started with criticism of the Harris campaign from all corners, including Biden stating he thought he would have won. Another example, Cory Booker's 25 hours speech, & then he voted for Jared Kushner's father for something, Ambassador to France, I believe. My own two dem senators have both voted for multiple Trump noms, Hickenlooper a disturbing number of them. WTAF? I've been discouraged with dems before, & I've always been a dem voter & always will, but I don't have any more money to send them & my GOTV efforts will depend on the candidate.
So much missing the point in this thread.
