They may be voting for EXPERIENCED candidates who have proven time and time again their Democratic mettle, but don't confuse that for """voting for someone just because they're old."""
And progressives -- of which I consider myself one -- could do well to vet their own before blindly championing someone as """the best and brightest""" just because they aren't currently a Democratic higher-up. We've already been burned more than once by so-called """progressives""" that ended up just being a big pain in the ass once they got elected on the back of that cheap sloganeering.
