36. Can someone explain to me how this plot was presented to Trump?

Something like this maybe?

“Okay Mr. President, here’s the plan. You’ll be on the stage, and we’re going to have a shooter up on this rooftop. He’s going to fire live rounds at you, because we need to make this look real. A few people behind you will probably get hit, but don’t worry — our guy on the roof is an expert marksman, so you don’t need to worry about getting shot. He’s also suicidal, which is why he’s chosen to take on this mission knowing that he himself will be immediately killed by a police sniper.

So as soon as you hear gunshots going off, the Secret Service will wrestle you to the ground. At that point, we want you to fall out of your shoes and squeeze this blood capsule over your ear. There will be a million cameras pointed at you, but we’re not worried about that because clearly you have the sleight-of-hand skills of a master magician. Then just wave your fist in the air, and the election is yours to lose.”

Is that how it went down?
