I dont know why they need all the drama to pass the bill though? It already passed the House, they control the Senate why not just use the combination of Musk and Trump to lean on the handful of wavering Senators and ram the bill through that way? That would make them both look like heroes instead of squabbling school kids.

I am inclined to agree, by Musk dissing the Bigbeatufilbill it makes it harder for Senators to vote against it
