The food chain will be broken [View all]

Everyone knows by now about the 3 meat processing plant raids in Omaha

https://www.ketv.com/article/nebraska-leaders-react-to-immigration-raids-in-omaha/65026064

So, just think about what happens next

1) no skilled meat cutters are waiting at the doors of those plants to continue the work

2) this is work that few others know or are willing to do. It is hard, dangerous and takes a lot of training to do it well and safely

3) cattle farmers plan their herds to go to slaughter years in advance … and they are not thinking about what happens when there are no slaughter houses to take their cattle when they made those breeding and feeding choices

4) once a animal is taken to market, it is ready to slaughter .. no one is going to want to continue to feed it

It may take a few months for all of this to come to the forefront, but, rest assured, there will be a lot of chaos … these are not tomatoes that can be plowed under ..
