. . .the No Kings organizers deliberately chose NOT to include Washington DC as a place to gather for protest. They instructed protestors who lived in DC to go to MD, VA, or travel to Philadelphia for those events.
They wanted to isolate Trump's party/MAGAs from any interference or excuse so that people could plainly see how fucking unpopular he/they have become.
And it worked. Big time.
