An ex-Homeland Security official who notably wrote an anonymous op-ed against President Donald Trumps first term has revealed that a number of White House staffers arent convinced the president is fit to serve in the Oval Office.
Miles Taylor part of the resistance against Trump 1.0 before joining 130-plus ex-GOP national security officials who ripped his ability to serve again referred to unnamed friends laying very, very low in the White House who share some of the same concerns he had about the president during his first term.
The man is still the same man, but worse and emboldened, he said as a guest on MeidasTouch Networks The Court of History podcast on Monday. Still deeply impulsive, but impulsive without checks and balances around him.
He added that those around the president arent trying to talk him out of doing bad things but instead are demonstrating fealty at every turn to the leader resulting in a variety of poor decisions.
