That was one of the luckiest days of my existence! DUers helped me with unloading my car and reloading after I blasted 70 miles back to retrieve it. The guy who found it was there and wouldn't accept a thank you gift, the $50 I had stashed inside.

As it turned out, I only lost about 14 hours and was only about 40 miles off course when I got back on the road. Unbelievable.

I put in the garden right away, there was no time to waste as I was a couple weeks off my timeline when I returned from Fargo in April. But things are growing and the conditions are perfect so I was lucky with that too.

Haven't found a place yet but haven't looked that hard as I had a lot to deal with when I arrived and had some grace period on housing priorities so I'm using it. I created the cushion so I could rest up after the move. Once I find a spot, I can settle in and carry on. I hope we still have a country then!

And I hope it warms up enough for you to have a flourishing garden too. I have a feeling we'll be needing the food they give us more than usual.
