3. As I said there is decrying of the behavior in others

but what is/has been going on in Israel as well is no "flower of democracy" moment and so when the media there quote the IDF or the government in describing damage, actions etc. there are major credibility issues as well as in countries like Iran, China, Turkey, Hungary etc. So when the government says little to no damage there is no reason to take that at face value as there would be no reason to take a similar report from the Tehran Times. The governments of Israel over the years have a long history of lying and deception even with their supposed "friends" like the US. The point here being that most all governments tell lies to their own people and the rest of the world and so people should not "accept" one any more readily than the other.
