(14,619 posts)The same oligarchy that owns so much of the corporate media which deceives low information voters into believing the Republican Party is a champion for God, country, and the well being of American families.
It is an entire ideology dressed up in convincing rhetoric, built on a foundation of lies.
Donald Trump is an ignorant sociopath, but he's also a skilled con man astute enough to expand on the lies. He broke established boundaries, shattered norms, and pushed the emotional buttons of grievance in voters smart enough to know they've gotten a raw deal but dumb enough to believe the lies.
He liberated those whose expressions of bigotry and misogyny were inhibited during the era of political correctness, and they LOVE him for it.
So, who is THE enemy?
I blame ignorance and human nature, which is damn hard to fight.
But fight we must. Since victory requires winning elections, it is the Republican Party we must defeat.
