68. Why aren't people of color who have been here for centuries

Buying the propaganda? The most loyal democrats since the civil rights movement are people of color. When Regan restarted the southern strategy many people started voting against their interests and started voting for people who understood their culture. Ron Desantis is not fooling anyone, they like what they see. Why is it that woke DEI and all the other buzzwords help them to win elections? Please tell me why Mississippi which is one of the poorest states in America continues to vote for politicians who keep them mired in poverty and almost last in everything that might make their lives better. If it makes you feel better to believe the dominant culture is feeble minded go ahead. But a lot of people of color see them as the people who would hang us from trees and have a picnic.
