First of all, the bombing of Iran is NOT popular. Initial polling:

CNN 44% Approve, 56% disapprove
CBS 44% Approve, 56% disapprove
YouGov 35% Approve, 53% disapprove
Ipsos 36% Approve, 45% disapprove
Quinnipiac 42% Approve, 51% disapprove

Then look at the recent polling on Trump's overall approval. Only Ipsos and YouGov polled anyone after the bombings took place and even for those, the vast majority of the polling was before the bombings.
