(2,486 posts)They just don't know how awful that orange con man is. Or they know he's awful, but they think Democrats are worse.
My younger brother and his wife in Florida are good people, but they voted for that orange thing. The last time I visited them was in February. My brother said while I was there that the current occupant of the White House is "almost as bad as Biden." WTF? Joe Biden is an honorable and decent man. That thing in the White House is nothing of the sort.
Some years back my brother said something about Democrats being evil. I think the churches have a lot to do with these delusions about the integrity of Democrats. I haven't darkened the door of a church in decades. I sometimes think I ought to go to church services a few times to get some idea of what kinds of propaganda they're preaching now.
It's Fox and 1500 right-wing radio stations and the churches. They have brainwashed the American electorate. How do we go about unbrainwashing them?
Can I forgive them for the unholy horror they have inflicted on us? Yes, I can forgive the ones who are good people but just deluded. But a lot of them are not good people; they are the same kinds of villains as that orange thing in the White House, and no, I can't forgive them.
