45. The whole thing sounds like a big scam to me.

Somebody on this board, and I don't know who, was really onto something when they said given the timing when these cuts, they are designed to happen after the midterms or after the 2028 election. Apparently, the GOP timed these thinking they would not win majorities in 2026 or the presidency in 2028. There would be this big mess, the Democrats would of course clean it up, but they would be blamed by the GOP for causing the mess in 2028, 2030, or 2032. They count on the ignorant public to vote them in again to do the same thing all over again.

I think that is exactly what is going on.
