Trump to host UFC fight at White House
President Donald Trump on Thursday announced a very unusual plan for the nations 250th anniversary next year: a mixed-martial arts fight on the grounds of the White House with up to 25,000 spectators in attendance.
Were gonna have a UFC fight, think of this, on the grounds of the White House, he said. We have a lot of land there, were gonna build a little ― were not, Danas gonna do it, Danas great, one of a kind.
He was referring to Dana White, CEO of Ultimate Fighting Championship, aka UFC.
The two have been close for years, with White endorsing Trump and speaking on his behalf at the Republican National Convention in 2016, 2020 and 2024.

Utterly disgusting. Why not set up a coliseum for the GLADIATORs, the lions, and the bloody deaths?

What's next? Dog fighting in the newly paved over Rose Garden? Kristi Noem as the referee?

More overcompensation for what he lacks. Surprised he's not fostering Hunger Games.

Idiocracy was light relief. At least they elected a Black man, rather than the racist in reality (nt)

Why not? He's already degraded the beautiful, dignified symbol of the presidency.

Sort of like when Andrew Jackson invited a bunch of rednecks and hooligans to a party at White House.

Taking tacky to whole new levels. Kind of fitting though given what he's done to the Oval Office.
