He was an Assemblyman before he was elected to Congress. I shudder to think of him as governor. He masquerade as a "moderate" but is a boot licking sycophant.
Problem is Gov. Hochul isn't terribly popular and is being primaried by her Lt. Governor who nobody knows.
He's made himself persona non grata.
