47. The act of remembering is not the same as "holding grudges" there's an important difference.

Actually, "life is too short" to treat people like shit for offering hope and something to look forward to... rather than for failing to measure-up to an acceptable amount of nonstop rage. How strange it is, to me, that any effort to imagine a better future is to be considered as "diminishing" the current rage of others. Even weirder is the notion that in being hopeful that it will be restored to its former glory, that I'm advocating for anyone to "replace history." Following that logic, one could argue that the grounds of Jackie's Rose Garden should just be left as it is. After all, it's history... it happened... it'll never be the same, so why bother, eh? Please.

Lastly, it's unclear why anyone would try to pretend as though it's nothing, or claim that they didn't mean it, or to be dismissive as if it's all my imagination, or to say that it never happened. I'll remember that too.

Maybe, but that should not diminish the rage. You can't really replace history, no matter how much one tries... hlthe2b Jul 5 #2
