Living at a slower pace allows one the opportunity to appreciate the little things that one might have missed or taken for granted decades earlier. And to share them with my grandson, and enjoy a three year old's ideas on having fun.

I'm taking relatively brief rounds of work on the lawn & garden. It is 90 degrees out, and so I appreciate that my oldest son keeps saying, "Let me do that for you, old man. Go inside and take a rest." Resting is fun. I get to come on DU.
