Blackhawk helicopters were on location from the guard attempting rescues as this was still happening that morning. Coast guard sent their rescue helicopters from corpus ASAP when the flood was still happening. Texas a@m sent their rescue dogs. We appreciate Mexico and all teams helping. One coast guard helicopter team and rescue diver had over 100 rescues yesterday. Red Cross was on site asap. I believe FEMA comes after to help those displaced. There are dozens of communities across Texas that have sent fire crews and ambulances. HEB immediately sent their disaster trucks( showers and washers) plus food and water.

GOP sucks but Texas steps up for Texas and surrounding areas during any disaster. I don’t want to betray the efforts and teams on site from when this started. That’s not the right message.
