…minister (no longer - they divorced when he cheated on her with one of his female parishioners).

She told us about one of the congregation members who did not approve of foreign languages being taught in American schools. His rationale - “If English was good enough for Jesus, it’s good enough for me.”

How do you even begin to counteract such woeful ignorance?
