General Discussion
In reply to the discussion: Mike Johnson has hit a nerve with his prayer talk: [View all]republicans take care of the most rabid of their supporters. they satisfy the desires of the racists, the anti tax crowd, the gun nuts, and the religious fanatics. when out of power, they use every legislative trick to thwart the agenda of the democrats and then accuse the democrats of not being able to address the problems of our society. they continue to win elections because this method of governance appeals to a broad coalition of the disaffected in the united states. they govern the unTIED states whereas the democrats attempt to govern the united states. it aint good governance, but it is the government that we continue to vote for and the one we deserve.
