4. My mother "aced" a comprehensive cognitive test.

She still turned over power of attorney to my older brother and gave up her car keys, much to our relief.

Coming from one who had to help an elderly parent, when he says he aced a cognitive test, I am not impressed. It is not like scoring high on an ACT.
