24. At the risk of sounding redundant this is what Hitler did too

He told the German people that WWI wasn't their fault, that they would have won if it hadn't been for the Jews teaming up with the corrupt politicians and then when they surrendered because their money was at risk they made terrible deals with the allies that lined their pockets even more. He told them that everything they were told were lies and that if they just gave into their worst instincts Germany would rise from the ashes and punish everyone who did it to them starting with the Jews.

Regardless if he conciously knows it or not is playing Hitler's playbook to almost perfection. The problem Trump has is that he is a lot older than Hitler was when he came to power and he definitely has an expiration date that is fast approaching. Hitler was also a lot better at picking evil people to help him who were VERY comptent, Trump tends to pick losers.
