5. Repeal a scientific finding? How can the government repeal a scientific finding?

It's like what happened to Galileo - he figured out that the earth revolved around the sun, but the Church decided that this scientific finding was contrary to its established dogma, so the Inquisition found him guilty of heresy; he was placed under house arrest for the rest of his life, forced to recant, and his publication was banned. E pur si muove.

Trump has created a new Inquisition to suppress science that conflicts with whatever unscientific bullshit works for the benefit of the oligarchs. "Our chief weapon is surprise... surprise and fear... fear and surprise... Our two weapons are fear and surprise... and ruthless efficiency.... Our three weapons are fear, and surprise, and ruthless efficiency... and an almost fanatical devotion to Trump...” We'd better keep expecting this Inquisition.
