For your first point (a safe place where I can go) I think the numbers show you are safer here in the US than in Israel. The whole hamas attack that killed over a thousand people plus the rockets they kept shooting that closed large parts of Israel kind of overshadows anything happening here in the US.

"Jerusalem is important to Jewish people", that is a religious thing. If Religion is a reason why the Jewish people should be there then as an atheist I am automatically against that in principle. I don't think religion gives anyone a right over others at all.

Many people have a history in another place and many of them have been persecuted throughout history.

"There are several Islamic countries" Do you think it is right for a country that has a state sponsored religion? I don't.
