26. nazi germany worked the same way

many people in many places did not like what the government forced them to do, and yes, it's correct to direct the anger at donnie and his political appointees and the people who are issuing the evil orders, just as with nazi germany.

at the same time, what comfort is it to us to know there are good people who don't like complying?

just as the "good germans" who did what they felt they needed to do to survive, they also didn't do anything to counter the evils of authoritarianism and propaganda.

to be fair, i'm not sure there really is anything they *could* do even if they were so inclined. they know they'd just be fired and replaced with someone more obedient.

which brings us back to directing the anger at donnie and the political appointees....
