2. Because there are no jobs, and minimum wages have not risen

for 25 years, and AI is coming for jobs, and there are few union jobs, low wages will fight inflation in a way they didn't when they were based on unions in the 1980's stagflation. So wages will stay low while tariffs raise the cost of goods. People in the growing working class will see their disposable income go down. How nice for the rich who spend less on goods and don't like inflation because it eats away at their wealth. Leopards eat the faces of Trump voters. And everyone else who is not rich. Prices rising will give ceos the opportunity to raise prices even on products not affected by the tariffs like the pharmaceutical companies do. Once again their is a transfer of wealth from the middle class to the rich. I thought Trump's tariffs would result in stagflation that everyone across the country would have to fight inflation together. Now it looks like it is more class warfare: the point being to grow the number of poor people and reduce the size of the middle class.
