I would bet more than a few older DUers listen to some of today’s tepid responses to what’s happening and find it hard to believe.

Our activism during the Vietnam War, the women’s movement, the Civil Rights Movement and more happened because we were willing to stand up and not only say something but do something. We had some brave, fierce leaders back then. And we had some brave, fierce reporters. I’m not saying we don’t have any now, but we certainly don’t have enough.
