(1,075 posts)48. Discord is weird
I am not sure of the order, however I think it was Ventrillo, then Teamspeak, then Discord that we use/used.
I am a gamer and in raids we use Discord exclusively now, and you can go back and read the chat logs that happened during the raid and sometimes it looks like gibberish and sometimes it is as clear as a well written book.
Voice deflection means a lot, if a raid starts to go sideways the voice to text does as well.
You can look back on it to figure out what went haywire and sometimes it is clear as can be and other times think it is the wrong patch.
Can be all over the place, voice to text is good, but still not great.
Alexa will still put something crazy like a pencil on my grocery list for no apparent reason.

Pretty much explains motive. Worse, it gives GOPers a bit more ammunition for their distorted view it's "radical left."

Well, they're not texting about silly stuff - they're talking about the gravest subject imaginable - capital murder. NT

That's a charging document. It was presented in court. It was obtained via subpoena from Discord.

It's on a direct message on the Discord app. At least that's what I first read.

I'm familiar with evidence rules and it is best to present as such during discovery.

I don"t know if it is me, but the dialogue between the two, sounds like it came from a 40's B Movie or a Hallmark movie

It's a court document, not a media thing. Obtained from Discord server via a subpoena
