However, there is something about social media- at least IMO- that has made people absolute appalling in their behaviour towards others. Filming brutal treatment towards others, acting like massive assholes just for clicks, doing stupid shit for likes
you get the idea. My partner, a rather moderate guy in most respects, was appalled at a video of a mother gleefully bursting in to tell her two young kids that she had the best news ever: Trump died? Vance died? Musk died? they guessed. No, she squealed, Charlie Kirk was shot. Wtf is wrong with that picture? And why film it?
We live in a deeply sick society. Am I sad hes dead? No. In fact I think nothing of him really. But I have enough sanity and self-worth not to blast my views all over the public sphere. Its really not a good look. I dont agree with shutting down peoples 1st Amendment Rights at all, but people need to use their fucking brains once in awhile.
