7. Are Americans prepared to give up their constitution and all the rights

that generations before them fought and died for? I see these imbecile redneck trumpers waving their flags and screeching "USA! USA!" as they ignorantly support a fascist coup, calling themselves patriots......and I wonder. Did the fundamental flaws in our constitution (undemocratic apportionment of senators, electoral college) doom our republic? Right now, I'm still hopeful that there is enough decent and good and smart in the American people that we will avoid a downfall. But it is not a certainty, and if democracy survives this time, we must remember this close call and take action to prevent the traitors from coming close again.
