Most of what Bannon says gets ignored around here, but suddenly he announces he has a “plan” to secure a third term for Trump, and dozens of threads pop up accepting his trolling unquestioningly as the gospel truth, a truth that is certain to happen, a truth that we are powerless to prevent.

This defeatist-saturated Doomerism sickens me, and distracts us from resisting and fighting against actual atrocities that are happening daily.

It is critical that we never forget this one absolute truth:

Trump is NOT omnipotent, and the states and the people are NOT powerless.
