I've got a great bullshit detector and I've gotten conned a time or three.

Basically, if it sounds too good to be true, it's not true unless you've given it a long enough smell test to determine whether or not hell has really frozen over enough for someone to have awakened to the truth, at least temporarily. It usually doesn't last.

This shared human fallibility when it comes to slick con jobs is why I'm not super hard on the average King EpsteinEnabler voter. If they're assholes about it, then I avoid them. I've never liked assholes, anyway, and at my age, there's just not enough time left for me to try to put up with them.
