Trump lashes out at Ukrainian leadership, claiming Kyiv has shown "zero gratitude"

President Donald Trump slammed Ukraine’s leaders today for what he described as a lack of gratitude, as top US officials meet with a delegation from Kyiv to broker an end to the Russia-Ukraine war.
“UKRAINE ‘LEADERSHIP’ HAS EXPRESSED ZERO GRATITUDE FOR OUR EFFORTS, AND EUROPE CONTINUES TO BUY OIL FROM RUSSIA,” Trump wrote in a post on Truth Social.
The comment harkens back to Vice President JD Vance’s remarks in the Oval Office earlier this year, when he berated Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky during a tense meeting and asked, “Have you said thank you once?”
In Trump’s fuming social media post, he wrote that the war is a “loser for everyone.” The president added that the US has sold “massive” amounts of weapons to NATO for distribution to Ukraine, in addition to its efforts to broker peace.
