that could be spent to help Democrats elsewhere are expended on this quixotic race. Jones' only statewide win was in a special election against a lunatic ephebophile who was twice removed from the bench by federal order and even then Jones only won by 1.6 percent.

Tuberville is a shoe-in at this point.
