Every subculture has its small percentage of wackos, and Class III collectors are no different. Thankfully history shows us that even the wackos of the group, however fucked up their views may be, are ultimately harmless. The number of crimes since 1934 which involved legally owned fully automatic weapons can literally be counted on one hand. Machine gun owners are one of the most law abiding groups in the country. Their weapons are registered and they must undergo an extensive several month long FBI background check before purchasing them. 99.9999% of the owners are good people. Looking at a couple crazy booths at an event that hosts thousands of people, and then trying to make broad generalizations about the whole group based on those few extremists is dishonest.
