46. I thought Jimmy Carter would do it. Plain Spoken Peanut Farmer

from Georgia. Did his Campaign on a train in the late 70's and his Peace Corps Mother in her late 70's stopped in Ridgefield, Connecticut and shook my hand and said "He's going to do it for us!" and she did a wonderful speach about how as old as she was she had stayed involved and why we should vote for her son, Jimmy.

And...then I had a a BIG HOPE for the "MAN FROM HOPE" (Campaign Slogan) from ARKANSAS and his Attractive "New Female Power Wife" who was the darling of the women's movement with her Progressive Husband...both from Yale...and the new DLC was the WAY to SLAY THE REPUGS!

OMG....How long it's been and how many SORROWS... down that LONG ROAD...FROM EXUBERANT HOPE.........to.......

whatever.....
