In 1958 as a young Democrat, Elfie campaigns against an early water giveaway to big Westside welfare farmers. The water crime wave his organization, National Land for People, uncovered in 1974 was later legalized by Congress in 1982 legislation. Then George and Maia moved to SunMt to demonstrate the green, democratic future they wanted.
