(36,798 posts)He makes a blanket statement, that abortion IS a horrific killing and it's sad that they "have" to happen.
They they couch that statement about an alleged personal belief that they are pro choice, and we should all accept this opinion on DU because he is pro-choice.
I'm sorry but Fred Phelps talking points have no place here as far as I am concerned. Why must women be subjected to this shaming on DU when it comes to making decisions about their own body. This is about womens rights. This would not be acceptable if we were discussing any other human right, especially one that is fully supported in the Democratic Party Platform. It's quite offensive, and I don't care if one more person tries to tell me I am squashing their free speech. Hell they are interfering with my rights as fully autonomous human being.
