I went to the ATM several years on payday. I knew something was going on that most of the $ were not in the balance. I called Marta wondering what happened. She had no idea either. She called the credit union. They said an online clothing purchase that was to be shipped out of the US had been placed. We caught it early enough that it didn't ship. And the address would be monitored by police.

Twice little amount showed up in France a couple years apart. Had to go through the Visa dispute process. We have never been to Europe. It was entered by hand, not swiped. Both times we won.

I check our balances everyday. We got F'd by Travelocity and caught it right away. Long story there. They lied to the investigator. I still had the original email. It was what saved my butt. Because they outright lied, we got the full charge back. The vendors still got paid by Travelocity.
