(15,805 posts)36. looks like a nice residential neighborhood with lots of kids
but those decorations are definitely for mature audiences. Why would anyone want to scare a bunch of tots with that stuff? Scared kids cry, so what's the thought process of anyone who thinks that the excited little girls and boys in their princess costumes and spaceman suits will find blood and gore entertaining!
When we were more youthful,we did two separate events with the early evening version designed for kids, and then about 8 or 9 my DH and his crew would switch out the sets to the spookier adult version for our teens, their friends and the neighbors.

Yes... I won't put anything out in terms of decoration until at least the middle of the month..
