And you're on a thread about the President's most recent exam, so don't be surprised when your comments are interpreted in that context.
Basically, you're being really negative on a thread about our President's health, and I think that's one of those things that makes DU suck. And that's why I addressed you.
Edit to add: but more the point, I don't know if you've ever had the "gold plated endoscopy" you mentioned, but I've had a bronchoscopy, pretty damn close. I wouldn't want one again if I could avoid it. The average person really doesn't need or want to have every expensive diagnostic test on the market. Many times those scans find things that are nothing at all, and just waste more money. Not to mention scaring the patient to death when they find something innocent but that "has to be investigated further" just to be sure, because they found it. Conservative measure are actually best for first visits, as there are many reasons for a sore throat. Just because the rich have something doesn't mean we really want it.
